Q.  Will you customize our stock plan?
 
A.  Russell does his best to work with you so you'll be thrilled with your finished home.  So, Yes!  As much as is possible and works within your budget.
     
 
Q.   Do you finance construction loans?
 
A.   Sorry, we don't finance - however, we'll point you to a reputable Knoxville area bank that does finance construction loans.   They will also pre-qualify you, which eliminates any stress at your end and helps us all while discussing and planning your home or cabin construction.
 
 
Q.   What is included in the final quote?
 
A.   This is a variable - basically your quote will be for ground prep and the construction of your home.  We do not quote for land and construction together.  You are encouraged to discuss this with the banker of your choice - depending on your down payment amount, the banker may be able to work with you on a partial land loan along with your construction loan.
 
 
Q.   How long will it take to build a custom mountain home?
 
A.   A good rough estimate will be given when you are quoted on your construction cost.  It is for today's luxury home or hybrid cabin roughly 6 to 8 months from when we break ground - this has proved to be an accurate time frame, it is an estimate.
 
 
Q.   We'd like to build a Log Cabin or Log Look Cabin - what are the pros and cons of each?
 
A.   If you choose to build a Log Cabin or a Log Look Cabin - Russell will sit down with you and discuss the pros and cons of both systems.  Then you'll be able to make your decision with the benefit of Russell's experience with both types of construction.
 
 
Q.   We live out of state - will we be able to view our construction progress online?
 
A.   Russell will email you photographs of the construction as it is taking place.  If you would like the photos posted to the GreenbrierMountainHomes.com website - that is an option as well.
 
 
Q.   Is the construction covered with a warranty/guarantee during and after?
 
A.  Many of the appliances and main system items like windows, roofing, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, heating and cooling units have a one year warranty.  A four year structural warranty also applies - the structural warranty is in place for the structure of your new home after it is completed.
